Drimys granadensis

A rarely offered evergreen tree with leathery foliage, often paler beneath, for a sheltered collection.

Supplied in a 7.5L nursery pot. You are purchasing one live plant. Pot dimensions describe the nursery container, not the final height or spread.

Leaf colour, form and plant height vary naturally with age, season and growing conditions. If a specific specimen or size is important, contact MM Plants before placing your order.

Growing and care

• Light: Full sun in a warm position sheltered from cold winds
• Watering: Rich, moist but well-drained soil; avoid drought during establishment
• Temperature: Cold tolerance depends on provenance; protect young plants and containers
• Aftercare: Unpack promptly, check the compost and allow the plant to settle before repotting. Remove only dead or damaged growth.
• Safety: Ornamental plant; do not eat. Check suitability before placing within reach of children or pets.
