Acanthus sennii

An Ethiopian acanthus with an architectural, spiny form, suited to a warm and sheltered collection.

Supplied in a 5L nursery pot. You are purchasing one live plant. Pot dimensions describe the nursery container, not the final height or spread.

Leaf colour, form and plant height vary naturally with age, season and growing conditions. If a specific specimen or size is important, contact MM Plants before placing your order.

Growing and care

• Light: Sun or partial shade with shelter
• Watering: Keep moist while growing in fertile, well-drained soil
• Temperature: Protect from cold and winter wet; container plants need extra protection
• Aftercare: Unpack promptly, check the compost and allow the plant to settle before repotting. Remove only dead or damaged growth.
• Safety: Ornamental plant; do not eat. Check suitability before placing within reach of children or pets.
