Description
About this plant
One unrooted Alocasia corm for propagation, sold individually. This is not a rooted or potted plant. The recorded mother-plant name is retained; the guidance below describes a general Alocasia rooting method, not cultivar identification or mature-plant traits.
Growing and care
- Light: CORM: BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT
- Watering: For the grower’s self-wicking method, keep the rooting medium moist and the reservoir below the net pot so water does not touch its base. Do not let the reservoir dry out; check regularly for rot.
- Hardiness / temperature: ROOT AT 24–27°C; KEEP WARM THROUGH WINTER
- Soil: Root in Fluval Stratum using a wick and reservoir. Half-bury the corm with its growing tip facing upwards; cover with a clear dome and briefly ventilate daily.
- Aftercare: Genus-level corm rooting guidance only. Keep the propagator at 24–27°C while rooting, including in winter. Germination can take days, weeks or months; growth is not guaranteed.
