Description
Lagerstroemia indica, the crape myrtle, is a deciduous shrub or small tree with attractive peeling bark and crinkled summer flowers. Flower colour depends on the selection supplied. For the best display in a cool climate, choose a warm, sunny, sheltered position, such as beside a south-facing wall. It requires freely draining soil and winter protection in colder locations. The current listed supply size is a 16 litre pot and approximately 125–150 cm plant height.
