Hedychium greenii

A ginger lily for a sheltered, exotic planting, with upright leafy stems and a rhizomatous rootstock.

Supplied in a 7.5L nursery pot. You are purchasing one live plant. Pot dimensions describe the nursery container, not the final height or spread.

Leaf colour, form and plant height vary naturally with age, season and growing conditions. If a specific specimen or size is important, contact MM Plants before placing your order.

Please ask our team about the correct growing position and winter protection before planting outdoors. Species and cultivar requirements can differ substantially.

Growing and care

• Light: Sun or partial shade with shelter
• Watering: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil; water well during active growth
• Temperature: Protect rhizomes in frost-prone conditions and shelter containers
• Aftercare: Unpack promptly, check the compost and allow the plant to settle before repotting. Remove only dead or damaged growth.
• Safety: Ornamental plant; do not eat. Check suitability before placing within reach of children or pets.
