Begonia grandis subsp. evansiana

A begonia for a foliage-led collection, displayed in a sheltered position with gentle light.

Supplied in a 2L nursery pot. You are purchasing one live plant. Pot dimensions describe the nursery container, not the final height or spread.

Leaf colour, form and plant height vary naturally with age, season and growing conditions. If a specific specimen or size is important, contact MM Plants before placing your order.

Growing and care

• Light: Bright filtered light; protect leaves from strong midday sun
• Watering: Keep the root ball lightly moist while growing, with free drainage
• Temperature: Shelter the rootstock in winter; young plants and pots need protection. Ask about local suitability before planting out permanently.
• Aftercare: Unpack promptly, check the compost and allow the plant to settle before repotting. Remove only dead or damaged growth.
• Safety: Ornamental plant; do not eat. Check suitability before placing within reach of children or pets.
